Oklahomans could find out later today if the NBA has ruled to allow the SuperSonics to relocate.
The league's board of governors is expected to hand down a decision later today regarding Clay Bennett's request to move the Sonics franchise from Seattle to Oklahoma City.
Many anticipated the request will be approved after NBA commissioner David Stern's comments during his trip to Oklahoma City three weeks ago.
"At a meeting subsequent to the presentation; they would recommend to the relocation committee that it recommends that the franchise relocate from Seattle to Oklahoma City," said Stern.
The decision to move the franchise to the Ford Center could turn T-shirts and jerseys with Seattle's name into collector's items.
