GUTHRIE, Okla. (AP) - A Guthrie man has died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with another vehicle on a Logan County highway.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the accident that killed 43-year-old Christopher Cowden happened on State Highway 105 about 5:05 p.m. on Saturday.
Troopers say Cowden was riding his motorcycle westbound on the highway while a vehicle driven by 49-year-old John Vian of Oklahoma City was going eastbound.
Authorities say Cowden's motorcycle hit Vian's vehicle as Vian was turning north onto another road. The force of the impact ejected Cowden, who died at the scene.
Neither Vian nor a passenger in his vehicle were injured.
