Severe storms will continue to be possible through Wednesday in Oklahoma.

Monday morning, strong thunderstorms were moving east through eastern Oklahoma.  These storms had frequent lightning, torrential rainfall capable of producing localized flooding, and small hail.

There is a risk for showers and thunderstorms late this afternoon and early evening across far western Oklahoma and the northern half of the state.  Those chances increase overnight tonight into Tuesday morning, especially in the enhanced risk area.  As with any severe thunderstorm, the risks can include large hail, damaging wind, and isolated tornadoes.

There is a risk for more thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday, then the state should enter a dry spell late this week.
