OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Thunderstorms rolling across Oklahoma brought more rain, strong winds and left power outages across Oklahoma.

About 3,250 outages were reported by Oklahoma Gas & Electric with 3,150 of those in the Oklahoma City metro area.

Public Service Company of Oklahoma has had outages in Cheyenne, Leedy, Butler and the Hammon area.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is also reporting several accidents because of people driving too fast for the conditions.

Trooper Betsy Randolph says from 3 a.m. until just before 9:30 troopers responded to three dozen accidents in the Oklahoma city area.

The National Weather Service has issued a series of flood warnings for the eastern part of the state. The watches include the Illinois River near Watts and Tahlequah, the Verdigris River near Lenapah, Bird Creek near Sperry and near Owasso-Mingo and the Caney River at Bartlesville, Ramona and Collinsville.

A flash flood watch is in effect for the western half of the state.
