Weakening winds and mostly clear skies will lead to a very chilly night across much of the state Thursday night into Friday morning. These conditions will lead to a possible frost and freeze.
The first widespread frost of the Fall season is possible across much of Central and Western Oklahoma early Friday morning. A Frost Advisory is in effect for this region through 9 a.m. Friday.
Far Western Oklahoma may also get its first widespread freeze, and a Freeze Warning is in effect for the far western line of counties and the Panhandle.
Tender vegetation should be protected to avoid damage from the cold tonight.
