OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Blazers have cut long-time Blazer Marty Standish.
With the return of center Chad Hinz this week -- coach Doug Sauter had to cut one of his four veterans.
Standish has no goals and six assists in eight games this season.
He ranks second in career goals with the Blazers with 188 and is third in both assists and points. He's fourth in games played and was a member of the 2001 Central Hockey League championship team.
Standish can retire, ask for a trade or be placed on waivers. Sauter says he'll support whatever Standish decides to do.
Oklahoma City is 8-0-2 and leads the Northeast Division of the CHL's Northern Conference.
