Metro School Discovers Asbestos

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A dangerous discovery has been made inside an Oklahoma City elementary school.

Adams Elementary School, 3416 SW 37th Street, students returned from the holiday to find their school isn't safe to enter.

As part of the MAPS For Kids Project, Adams Elementary has received a new addition. During some construction, workers came across asbestos.

The labor department said most Oklahoma City schools have asbestos. Under federal law you can see the report on all schools at the district's administration building.
