Shawnee Mall Evacuated After Bomb Threat

SHAWNEE, Oklahoma - The Shawnee Mall has been evacuated after someone called a store with a bomb threat.

Police said officials at Sears received a threatening phone call about 10:30 a.m. and searched the store. After the searches failed to run up anything suspicious, Sears officials called police about noon to report the threat.

Police and fire officials decided to evacuate the mall to conduct a thorough search of the mall grounds. The police did a second search too, but turned up nothing.
