Fire, Explosions Damage General Machine Works Building

OKLAHOMA CITY - A fire at General Machine Works at SE 26 Street and High Avenue caused heavy fire, smoke and several explosions.

Crews quickly hosed down the structure. No one was inside but oxygen and aceteline tanks were inside and several exploded.

"We had two pretty good explosions and one minor explosion right after we arrived on the scene," said Chief Chris Goodwin with the Oklahoma City Fire Department.

No one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
