Low pressure is moving north into New England today and is producing scattered showers through the region. The showery weather is spreading west into the Great Lakes and south through the Appalachians. Rain and snow showers continue to fall through the western Great Lakes. Sunny to partly cloudy skies are spreading through the Plains states while high pressure is keeping the western U.S. dry as skies are mostly sunny. It is also very hot through the Desert Southwest.
