Memorial Run a Milestone for Oklahoma Runners

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Thousands from all across the country flocked to Oklahoma City for the Memorial marathon.

Sunday was a milestone for numerous runners, including Tia Drumm who finished chemotherapy just three days ago. And for her, the marathon was simply about celebrating life.

"I like to finish what I start and I went through chemotherapy, started that, finished it, and I wanted this to be a celebration," Drumm said.

Drumm said her experience has taught her to live life to the fullest and she will be back to run the Memorial marathon next year.
