OKLAHOMA CITY -- Many Oklahomans remember Wayman Tisdale for his legendary performances on the hardwood, but as at talented musician, he also released several CDs that showcased his musical abilities.
In one of his last interviews with NEWS 9, he discussed a song he had written about persevering through his battle with cancer.
He was an accomplished bassist, but in this interview, he talks about learning to play the guitar a few years prior.
Known for his good nature, the song has become not only a reflection of his positive attitude during his battle, but a symbol of his enduring spirit.
