Pregnant Motel Explosion Victim Gives Birth

OKLAHOMA CITY - A pregnant woman who was a victim in a motel explosion has given birth to a baby boy at just eight months pregnant.

Bhautikaben Patel, 28, is at Integris Baptist. Doctors delivered her baby boy at 2 p.m. today via C-section. He's breathing on his own and is three pounds 4 ounces. Patel is still in critical condition with second and third-degree burns over 29.5 percent of her body.

Five people were injured, two critically after the explosion at the Guest Inn at 10 E. Main Street in Yukon Tuesday evening.

The cause of the explosion is unknown.
