Edmond Church Employee Accused of Indecent Exposure

An employee of the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond has been accused of exposing himself to a 7-year-old girl.

EDMOND, Oklahoma – An employee of the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond has been accused of exposing himself to a 7-year-old girl.

Landon Brockert, 25, is expected to be charged with one count of indecent exposure this week, Edmond Police Spokeswoman Glynda Chu said.  

Brockert works as an electronic media coordinator for the church.

The 7-year-old girl was at the church for gymnastics practice. She went to get a drink from a water fountain and saw man standing in a doorway with his genitals exposed, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Police questioned Brockert after identifying him surveillance video. During the police interview he admitted to exposing himself, according to the affidavit.

The First Presbyterian Church issued a statement saying "We are deeply concerned about these allegations. In accordance with our Child Protection Policy, Mr. Brockert has been placed on administrative leave pending a complete investigation."
