A man who said he was shot during an attempted robbery drove to a west Oklahoma City fast food restaurant for help.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man who said he was shot during an attempted robbery drove to a west Oklahoma City fast food restaurant for help.

The man said he was visiting friends at the Meadows Apartments near Melrose Lane and North Rockwell Avenue Tuesday night when two men tried to rob him. The man said one of the robbers shot him before both men ran away.

The victim called 911 on his cell phone while driving to a nearby Taco Bell for help. He was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries, but he is expected to be okay.
