Firefighters Battle Yukon House Fire

YUKON, Oklahoma – Yukon firefighters battled a house fire early Friday morning.

Yukon fire Lt. Kent Long said the fire started in the backyard of the home at 2008 Yellowstone Drive. The fire spread to outside of the building and toward the gas meter.

Firefighters worked with Oklahoma Natural Gas responders to keep the fire from spreading to the house.

The fire was extinguished quickly. No injuries were reported.
