OKLAHOMA CITY -- A tip-a-cop benefit for injured Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputy Major John Waldenville on Tuesday raised $12,000 and now three more benefits are planned.

On Monday, June 20, Stockyards City Main Street and Cattlemen's Steakhouse are hosting a Taste of Oklahoma City benefit. Then on June 25, several businesses in the 9th street district will donate a portion of their proceeds from that night.

And on June 27, there will be a benefit golf tournament at Silverhorn Golf Club. Registration starts at seven a-am and it costs 100 bucks. That includes a round of golf, a cart ride, lunch and range balls.
