EDMOND, Oklahoma -- An Oklahoma City man was arrested Wednesday by members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Demetrius Rogers, 24, was arrested on charges of soliciting sex with a minor with the use of technology, and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
Rogers was allegedly communicating with an undercover task force member who was posing as a 14-year-old female over the past several weeks. Rogers was said to have asked for nude photographs and to meet with the 14-year-old for sex.
Rogers reportedly traveled to the north side of the metropolitan area from his home in south Oklahoma City for the purposes of having sex with a minor child where he was met by agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Edmond Police, and Guthrie Police.
Rogers was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.
