A small earthquake was recorded near Wellston, Oklahoma, at 7:45 a.m. Saturday.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 2.9 magnitude earthquake was centered eight miles south of Wellston, eight miles south, southwest of Warwick, and 28 miles east, northeast of Oklahoma City.
It was about two miles deep.
No injuries or damage were immediately reported in this earthquake.
