Police responded to the scene of an automobile-pedestrian crash in southwest Oklahoma City, Friday night, that sent one woman to the hospital and a car through the front of a grocery store.
It happened at the Buy For Less grocery store located at 415 SW 59th St, just after 8:30 p.m.
Police investigators say an altercation between two women was the start of what ultimately led to the crash.
A Buy For Less store manager told police the women were arguing inside when he asked them to "leave if they couldn't act like adults." Police say the argument continued into the parking lot when the victim threw a jar of dip at the car, striking it on the hood.
Police then say the suspect intentionally ran into the victim, driving her and the vehicle through the front of the store.
The victim was transported by ambulance to OU medical Center. She is listed in serious condition.
Police have not released the identities of the two women involved. The suspect was arrested and taken to jail.
