A member of the Oklahoma State baseball team has been charged with driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Payne County Court records show Trey Whaley, 22, was arrested Friday, Jan. 25 in Stillwater while driving an SUV. According to court documents, his blood or breath alcohol concentration level showed above the legal limit.
Whaley appeared in court Friday and was released on a personal recognizance bond. He is scheduled to appear in court again Feb. 12.
Whaley is an outfielder on the Cowboy Baseball team who was named All-Big 12 Conference honorable mention. He played in 47 games with 43 starts and is the second leading hitter on the team with a .299 average. He's from Lubbock, Texas.
