After opening the season with a no-hitter against No. 21 Stanford on Friday, senior pitcher Keilani Ricketts followed up her stellar performance with another no-hitter against No. 5 Oregon, as No. 2 Oklahoma run-ruled the Ducks, 12-0, in five innings.

Ricketts struck out 10 Oregon batters and allowed just two base runners on a walk and an error.

Against Oregon, the Sooners jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when Lauren Chamberlain drew a leadoff walk and was sacrificed to second base by Georgia Casey. After a foul out, Ricketts fittingly shot a single back up the middle to score Chamberlain.

The Sooners busted the game open in the second inning, beginning with some small ball before breaking out the big sticks.

Brittany Williams reached via a walk and was pinch run for by Callie Parsons. After a steal of second, Parsons reached third by advancing on a foul out. Javen Henson then brought her home with a squeeze bunt.

Brianna Turang reached on a bunt single to put two on for Chamberlain, who crushed her fourth home run of the season over the fence in left field.

With two out and Jessica Shults on, Ricketts walked and Shelby Pendley hit her second home run of the season to right center.

The scoring continued in the fifth inning when Pendley drew a leadoff walk and came home when Williams re-entered the game and homered for the first time this season.

In the Sooners' second game of the day against New Mexico, three OU pitchers limited the Lobos to three hits and one run as OU run-ruled New Mexico 11-1.

Shelby Pendley blasted a two-run home run in the first inning, part of a four-run inning for the Sooners and Pendley's third home run of the early season. Oklahoma added two more runs in the second, a single run in the third, and put up another four spot in the fourth.

With two outs in the frame, Brittany Williams walked to load the bases. Brianna Turang singled to score Kady Self from third. Kelley Reeves, Callie Parsons and Lauren Chamberlain walked in consecutive order to score three more runs and give OU the run-rule victory.

The Sooners finish their time at the Kajikawa Classic on Sunday, when they take on Northwestern at noon CST.
