Chynna Brown scored 22 points to lead Texas Tech to a 61-53 win over Oklahoma State Wednesday night in Lubbock.

The Cowgirls were done in by a 29-6 run by the Red Raiders in the first half that turned a 16-6 OSU lead into a 35-22 Texas Tech lead. OSU dug its own grave by turning the ball over 23 times compared to just 11 times for Texas Tech.

The turnovers offset a great shooting performance from OSU, which shot 51.1 percent from the field for the game. However, the Red Raiders were able to grab 19 offensive rebounds which resulted in 13 second-chance points.

Despite shooting just 33.9 percent from the field for the game, Texas Tech (21-7, 11-5) attempted 17 more shots than OSU thanks to the strong performance on the offensive glass.

Oklahoma State (19-8, 8-8) was led by Brittney Martin's 13 points, while Kendra Suttles had 11 points. Toni Young chipped in 10 points.

Kelsi Baker was the only other Texas Tech player in double figures with 12 points.

OSU hosts Texas for senior night in Stillwater Saturday. Tip is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
