The investigation into the violent school shooting in Newtown, Conn. has revealed a tie to Oklahoma.

Adam Lanza opened fire more than 1,600 miles away from the Tin Star Shooting Range in Weatherford, Okla.

In the days following the massacre at Sandy Hook elementary investigators searched Lanza's home, recovering an arsenal of weapons, ammunition and a receipt from the business in Weatherford.

Reports reveal Lanza's mother, Nancy, purchased all of the weapons used in the massacre. Still, it's unclear if the guns used in the killings were actually purchased from Tin Star.

"He runs a great business, an honest business," said Brian Grayer.

Grayer, a fellow Weatherford businessman and friend of the Tin Star owners explains, this business is run by a former law enforcement officer who takes every precaution with selling firearms.

"I know they are above board. So if anything was done at Tin Star, it was done by the law and done legally," Grayer said.

The Tin Star owners chose not  to comment due to the ongoing investigation, but told News 9 their phones were ringing off the hook and it is still business as usual.
