Through 10 rounds of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft, 10 players with Oklahoma connections have been selected.

Through 10 rounds of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft, 10 players with Oklahoma connections have been selected.

Three first rounders went off the board on Thursday – all three right-handed pitchers from OU,ORU and OSU – while seven more were taken on Friday.

Here is a list of the prospects and where they're headed:

 

First Round

No. 3 – Jonathan Gray, right-handed pitcher, Oklahoma (Colorado Rockies)

No. 23 – Alex Gonzalez, right-handed pitcher, Oral Roberts (Texas Rangers)

No. 31 – Jason Hursh, right-handed pitcher, Oklahoma State (Atlanta Braves)

 

Second Round

No. 45 – Teddy Stankiewicz, right-handed pitcher, Seminole State (Boston Red Sox)

No. 63 – Dillon Overton, left-hander pitcher, Oklahoma (Oakland A's)

 

Third Round

No. 81 – Jon Denney, catcher, Yukon High School (Boston Red Sox)

No. 105 – Drew Ward, third baseman, Leedey High School (Washington Nationals)

 

Seventh Round

No. 206 – Matthew Oberste, first baseman, Oklahoma (New York Mets)

No. 213 – Trey Michalczewski, third baseman, Jenks High School (Chicago White Sox)

 

Ninth Round

No. 271 – Shane Martin, right-handed pitcher, Southwestern Oklahoma State (Philadelphia Phillies)
