Portion Of Eastbound Turner Turnpike To Close Tonight

Drivers heading east on Turner Turnpike Monday night will want to take alternate routes, because the turnpike will be closed between Chandler and Stroud.

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA) has announced eastbound lanes between Chandler and Stroud will be closed July 1 from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. There's a pavement failure within a construction zone, and crews must shut down the lanes to repair it.

All eastbound lanes will be forced to exit at Chandler, and reenter the turnpike at Stroud. The OTA is urging drivers to take alternate routes.
