Fire Damages Church Gym In SW OKC

A neighbor dialed 911 late Monday night after seeing smoke coming from a church gym near S.W. 55th Street and May.

The fire started around 11 p.m. Firefighters reached the scene within minutes and quickly put out the flames. Crews say the fire started in a kitchen in the gym.

No one was hurt. Firefighters believe the fire started accidentally.
