Victim In Shooting Outside SW OKC Motel Dies At Hospital

A man who was shot outside a southwest Oklahoma City motel early Saturday morning has died at the hospital.

Police responded to the report of the shooting just after 2 a.m. at the Route 66 Inn near Meridian and I-40.

One man was shot and transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

Police are now investigating the case as a homicide. No arrests have been made at this time.

Authorities have not released the identity of the victim.
