All lanes of westbound Interstate 40 have been re-opened after a crash involving s semi-truck near the Kilpatrick Turnpike late Monday night.

Emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck and a pickup just after 10 p.m.

A man and his young daughter were in the pickup at the time of the collision. No one was seriously injured.

The westbound lanes of Interstate 40 were shut down briefly as crews worked to clear the scene of the wreck. All lanes are back open as of Tuesday morning.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
