Police have arrested the suspect believed to be responsible for the deadly stabbing at a Midwest City apartment complex early Wednesday morning.
Oklahoma City Police arrested 48- year-old Reginald Lancaster in the area of NE 26th St. and Kelley at approximately 3:45 p.m. Police say he was transported to the Midwest City Jail without incident.
Midwest City Police said Lancaster attacked the two women, later identified as 39-year-old Waynetta Roberson and 35-year-old Cheniqua Tappin, in the parking lot of the apartment around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to an arrest warrant filed in Oklahoma County Court, doctors found "numerous stab wounds" on Roberson's body from what "looked possibly like an icepick.
No other details has been released at this time.
