The Omaha Storm Chasers homered in the second and fourth innings on their way to a 7-2 win against the Oklahoma City RedHawks Thursday in front of 6,054 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Thursday opened up a four-game home series between the PCL American Northern Division foes, as the RedHawks (42-39) returned to Oklahoma City from an eight-game road trip.

Catcher Francisco Pena had a game-high four hits and three RBI for the Storm Chasers (43-36), including a two-run homer in the fourth inning.

The RedHawks fell to 18-19 at home as they lost a fifth consecutive game overall.

Omaha's Paulo Orlando led off the second inning, hitting a high fly ball to left-center field that knocked off the wall near the RedHawks bullpen in the deepest part of the ballpark. Orlando sped around the bases and beat the throw home for an inside-the-park home run and a 1-0 Omaha lead.

Marc Krauss led off the bottom of the second inning with a double on a line drive to right field, then advanced to third on a flyout by Matt Duffy. He later scored on a strikeout/wild pitch with Max Stassi batting to cut the Omaha lead to 2-1.

Pena's two-run homer in the top of the fourth inning gave Omaha a 4-1 lead.

In the bottom of the fifth, Kiké Hernandez doubled with one out and Gregorio Petit followed with a RBI single to cut the Omaha lead to 4-2.

Christian Colon singled home a run with two outs for Omaha in the sixth for a 5-2 advantage.

Back-to-back RBI doubles by Brian Bocock and Pena in the seventh gave the Storm Chasers a 7-2 edge.

Petit and Hernandez each had two hits for the RedHawks, as Omaha outhit Oklahoma City, 13-7.

Omaha starting pitcher Clayton Mortensen (3-0) held the RedHawks to two runs and five hits in the win. He allowed two walks and struck out four over 5.1 innings.

Mike Foltynewicz (6-5) allowed four runs and seven hits over five innings. He walked one and recorded six strikeouts in the loss.

The RedHawks continue their series against Omaha with a 7:05 p.m. game Friday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Fireworks, presented by Country Financial, will follow the game.
