The Lake Cake

2 cups sugar

2 eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla

1/2 cup baking cocoa

2 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

2/3 cups vegetable oil

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup boiling water

2 1/2 cups cake flour or sifted all purpose

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium sized bowl combine all the ingredients stirring till well combined and then bake for 45 minutes! This cake freezes great!
