Oklahoma City police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Papa John’s restaurant at gunpoint.
According to police, at about 10 p.m. on Monday, August 18, officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at Papa John’s, located at 7011 NW Expressway in Oklahoma City.
An employee told police that a man walked into the restaurant and ordered a pizza. He then pulled out a gun and said “I’m not going to hurt you. Just go to the back.”
The employee said he already had the cash register open. When he returned, the suspect had already left, and all the money in the register was gone.
The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20s. He stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing a brown hoodie with the hood up and black pants. The employee said the suspect had black paint on his face.
Surveillance cameras at the restaurant did capture the incident. However, police said the footage was very poor and did not show a good picture of the suspect’s face. That video has not been released.
