Power Restored To Metro OKC Residents

More than 1,200 OG&E customers in the Oklahoma City metro area were without power due to high winds from Thursday morning's storms.

More than 1,200 OG&E customers in the Oklahoma City metro area were without power due to high winds from Thursday morning's storms. 

According to OG&E, at one point, 1,230 customers were without power, including 57 in Midwest City, 1,054 in east Oklahoma City, and 119 in north Oklahoma City.

According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, three power poles snapped due to high winds at N.W. 117th and Penn. Penn. is currently blocked in the area.

Power has been restored to all Oklahoma City metro customers.
