A crash in Okfuskee County killed a 17-year-old girl and injured an 11-year-old child. Authorities said Alex White was driving westbound on a county road north of Castle.

White reportedly went off the roadway to the right, overcorrected and went into a broad slide and went off the road to the left. Authorities said her vehicle struck a ditch and flipped over to land on its top. White died at the scene due to “massive injuries.”

She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
