A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Mooreland, Oklahoma, early Monday morning.

This earthquake was recorded at 5:42 a.m. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, its epicenter was located 12 miles east, northeast of Mooreland and 22 miles east, northeast of Woodward.

It was about three miles deep.
