One Injured After Car Crashes Into Parked Semi On I-44 Near I-235

All eastbound lanes of Interstate 44 near Interstate 235 are back open after a crash early Thursday morning.

According to authorities, a woman lost control of her PT Cruiser and slammed into a parked semi-truck. She was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition. 

Police are now looking into what caused the driver to lose control of her vehicle. No one else was injured.
