I was surprised, and I have to admit encouraged by a tweet that was retweeted by a network correspondent I respect.

It showed a picture of Jordan's King Abdullah in a flight suit in a cockpit, with the caption that he'd just return from a bombing run on ISIS.

Turns out, although he is a pilot, but he apparently did not fly on a raid Wednesday night.

But it was the positive reaction to the very idea of King Abdullah personally entering the fight that screams out one undeniable truth.

People are looking for a hero, a leader who will step up and say we're going after these barbarians and we won't stop until their eliminated.

It would be best if it was a leader in the Middle East, of a Muslim nation who took on that mantle, but he's going to need support and we need to give it to him immediately.

Military experts say the bombings, the pinprick strikes as they call them, President Obama ordered aren't even slowing down ISIS.

Obviously, they have time to savagely execute hostages and produce Hollywood style propaganda films to promote their cause to other lunatics who might we willing to join them.

We look soft when it comes to taking on ISIS, we need a lion to take the lead, maybe it's the King of Jordan.
