An earthquake shook up residents in Caldwell, KS., Friday afternoon.
The 3.8 magnitude struck at approximately 11:42 p.m.
Its epicenter was located six miles south of Caldwell, 34 miles west southwest of Arkansas City, and 34 miles west northwest of Ponca City at a depth of about four miles.
No injuries or damages associated with the quake have been reported at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
