OSU entered play having won three straight, all over ranked opponents. TCU entered having lost 10 of 11 in Big 12 play.

This wasn't supposed to happen; but it did.

Four Horned Frogs reached double figures as TCU shocked No. 21 Oklahoma State 70-55 on Saturday night in Fort Worth.

It wasn't pretty for TCU, but it never is. The Frogs shot 0-of-9 from downtown but made up for it with opportunistic buckets inside the arc. TCU shot 63 percent from 2-point range and outrebounded the Cowboys 30-25.

Le'Bryan Nash scored 19 to lead OSU, but he got almost no help. It's a problem that has plagued the Cowboys throughout the season, and it showed up again on Saturday. Usually, though, OSU can at least count on Phil Forte, but the sharpshooter struggled bigtime against the Frogs. Forte shot just 3-of-10 and 1-of-5 from 3-point range to finish with seven points. It's only the second time all season that Forte has failed to reach double figures. The other came at South Carolina back on Dec. 12 when Forte scored just five on 1-of-14 shooting.

Jeff Newberry scored 10 and was the only other Poke to reach double figures. Another consistent issue for OSU has been bench scoring, and it didn't get fixed on Saturday. The Cowboys' bench scored just five total points in a combined 45 minutes of action.

TCU got a balanced effort led by Kyan Anderson with 14 points and seven assists. Four Horned Frogs finished in double digits.

OSU (17-8, 7-6) better rebound quickly because Iowa State visits Stillwater on Wednesday. TCU improved to 15-10 and 2-10 in Big 12 play.
