The No. 3 University of Oklahoma softball team suffered its first loss of the season Sunday after an 8-4 loss at No. 21 Arizona State (8-4) in the final game of the Littlewood Classic in Tempe, Ariz.

Bethany Kemp hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh for the Sun Devils as OU fell to 9-1 on the year. Oklahoma's 9-0 mark to start the season was the seventh best in program history.

Oklahoma trailed 3-0 after the second inning but got a run back in the top of the third on a sacrifice fly to right field by Shelby Pendley.

After ASU added a run in the fifth to make it 4-1, OU rallied for three runs in the sixth to tie it at 4-4. Junior Whitney Ellis had an RBI double, while senior Callie Parsons added an RBI groundout and freshman Kelsey Arnold dropped a run-scoring single into left field to even things up.
