4.2 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Grant County

For the second time Saturday, an earthquake above 4.0 shakes residents near Medford, Oklahoma.

For the second time Saturday, an earthquake above 4.0 shook up residents near Medford, Oklahoma.

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 12:29 p.m. Its epicenter was located nine miles north northeast of Medford, 36 miles N of Enid, and 43 miles west northwest of Ponca City.

It was almost three miles deep.

A 3.1-magnitude earthquake was reported at 3:07 p.m. Saturday. Its epicenter was located about 13 miles south of Medford, 16 miles north, northeast of Enid and 78 miles north of Oklahoma City.

The earthquake was less than four mile deep.

A 3.4-magnitude earthquake was reported at 4:13 p.m. Saturday. The epicenter was reported about nine miles north, northwest of Medford, 36 miles north of Enid and 101 miles north of Oklahoma City. 

The earthquake was about three miles deep.

A 3.5-magnitude earthquake was reported at 5:43 p.m. Saturday. The epicenter was reported about eight miles north, northwest of Medford, 35 miles north of Enid and 100 miles north of Oklahoma City.

The earthquake was about three miles deep.

A 3.5-magnitude earthquake was reported at 10:04 p.m. Saturday. The epicenter was about nine miles north, northwest of Medford, 35 miles north of Enid, 101 miles of north of Oklahoma City.

The earthquake was more than three miles deep.

No immediate reports of damage or injuries were reported.
