OKC Police Identify Man Accused Of Stabbing Father To Death

Oklahoma City police have identified a man who reportedly stabbed his father to death early Wednesday morning.

According to police, at about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the report of a stabbing in the 2800 block of S.W. 79th Street. When they arrived, they found the body of 51-year-old Cuong Du inside of the home.

The victim’s son, 20-year-old Long Du, was arrested at the scene and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of first-degree murder in connection to his father’s death. He's being held without bond. 

Cuong Du's death is Oklahoma City's 79th homicide of 2015, according to police.
