Stoops: Baker Mayfield Expected To Play In Bedlam

Baker Mayfield is expected to play in Bedlam, Bob Stoops confirmed at his weekly press conference on Monday. Mayfield sat out the second half of Saturday’s 30-29 win against TCU after taking an illegal hit to the head from Horned Frog linebacker Ty Summers, who was subsequently ejected for targeting.

Mayfield was 9-of-20 for 127 yards and a pair of touchdowns before being checked out. He’s thrown for 3209 yards and 33 touchdowns this season.

ESPN’s College Gameday will be in Stillwater for Bedlam for fourth time since 2004.
