Despite a hard-fought road effort, Oklahoma State came up just short against Texas Tech and fell in overtime 63-61.

OSU held a 53-48 lead with just over a minute and a half left on the game clock, but Texas Tech's Toddrick Gotcher made a game-tying three-point jumper with 35 seconds left. OSU had a chance to win it before time ran out, but instead the Pokes fell victim of a shot clock violation and the game went to overtime.

OSU built up another lead in overtime, but Tech continued to grind it out and tied the game at 61-61 after Gotcher nailed another clutch three-pointer with 39 seconds left. OSU's Tavarius Shine then turned the ball over with the score tied and 15 seconds left on the clock, and the Red Raiders were able to capitalize with a Devaugntah Williams layup with one second left to seal the game.

Leyton Hammonds recorded his first career double-double in the loss, with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Jeff Newberry totaled 13 points while Jawun Evans scored 10 points but was limited with a shoulder injury.

Aaron Ross led the Red Raiders with 22 points while Gotcher scored 18 of his own.
