Oven Baked Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders
1 pound lean ground beef
8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
3 tablespoon dill pickles, chopped
2 tablespoon pickle juice
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 package Hawaiian Dinner rolls, cut in half
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise and place in the bottom of a 9x13 casserole pan. Brown the hamburger meat with the onions and garlic. Add in the pickles, pickle juice, bacon and ketchup. Stir together and season with salt and pepper as needed. Sprinkle 1 cup of the shredded cheese over the hot hamburger mixture and stir till it is melted. Place spoonfuls of the meat mixture on each roll. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese and place the bun tops on! Pour 1 stick of unsalted butter over the rolls and cover the pan with foil. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and return the rolls to the oven so the top will brown. Serve!
