A small earthquake rumbled in Major County, Monday afternoon.
The 3.2 magnitude temblor struck at approximately 1:08 p.m., 11 miles west southwest of the town of Helena, Okla., or about 85 miles northwest of the OKC metro, at a depth of three miles.
No damage or injuries have been reported.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquake with magnitudes ranging from 2,5 to 3,0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes of 4.0 and higher.
