Ham & Honey Biscuit Sliders
1 Ham steak, pan fried till warm
2 cups self-rising flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter
2 tablespoons cold butter flavored Crisco
1 cup buttermilk
3 tablespoon mustard
ADD:
1 tablespoon honey
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Heat the ham in a skillet till lightly browned. Cut into pieces for sandwich. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, butter and Crisco till small beads form. Pour in the buttermilk and stir till combined and is formed. Place on a lightly floured countertop and pat the dough. Cut out and bake for 10 minutes. Split the biscuit in half. Smear with mustard and add ham. Drizzle honey butter over the biscuit and serve!
