A very special fan was in the crowd at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, watching the Oklahoma City Thunder's game against the Golden State Warriors Saturday night.
You've probably seen his picture on the Internet -- the little boy dressed as Thunder player Steven Adams. He's back and we got to learn the story behind lil’ Steven Adams.
Three-year-old Thomas Kalinich is the Oklahoma City Thunder's biggest little fan. And if you couldn't guess, he's got a favorite player. The mustache and the tattoo he borrowed from Adams, but Thomas's mom said the hair was his first.
"I guess Steven Adams started growing his hair out, so we just decided we'll add the mustache and he can be his little mini-me," Thomas' mother Tanya said.
This mini-me kiwi went viral after a photo of him made the rounds on social media, garnering tens of thousands of shares and likes and a handful of online articles.
"We thought maybe a few people would share it, but we never thought he'd get thousands of likes or go viral," Tanya said.
While he hasn't gotten to meet Steven Adams just yet, Thomas said he's ready.
