OKC Police Investigating Homicide After Disturbance Leaves One Shot, Killed

The Oklahoma City Police Department says its now investigating a homicide after a man died from gunshot wounds sustained in a disturbance situation on the southwest side.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, July 3, police said they heard gunshot shots while responding to a disturbance call in the area of SW 49th and Woodward. 

Police said one victim was shot and transported to the hospital, but later died. 

Police said everyone involved in the incident was taken into custody. 

At this time, the name of the victim or the persons in custody have not been released. 

The investigation is ongoing.
